Searched "Chippy near me" whilst working in the area and found Luke's.The previous 5* reviews are well founded.The shop is spotlessly clean, the service comes with a smile, menu choice and price is good but most importantly, the food I took away was beautiful.
Stockport boy living in the USA.Whenever I get back home and visit my mother in Cheadle, fish n chips are always on the menu. For as long as I can remember I normally go to Whittakers, but I noticed Luke’s is rated slightly higher, so decided to give them a try.Their freshly cooked haddock was excellent. Chips good, but nothing special (nothing wrong with them, just lacked any ‘wow’).Service was by two ‘young’ ladies(girls?) who could benefit from paying a little more...read full review
