Running Hill Gate, Uppermill, OldhamWhat a great pub. Had no idea of it's existence until today but I'm sure it will become a place we regularly visit. The food (steak and kidney rag puddings for all plus choc orange cake and apple pie for dessert) were all fantastic. Some of the best pub grub I've had anywhere.

Diggle Lock
Unit 5, Warth Mill, Huddersfield Rd, Diggle, OldhamHad a delightfully cosy brunch with my friend and her little girl. The staff were very accommodating in providing a high chair and a suitable table so we could keep the baby's pram nearby. The food was delicious and hearty. I was tempted to try the hot chocolate but refrained — maybe next time! The area of Diggle is so beautiful. I would definitely like to revisit Diggle Lock!

Cross Keys Inn
Running Hill Gate, Uppermill, OldhamVisited today, lovely little pub off the beaten track, lovely friendly atmosphere, food was good, chips were amazing ( seriously good, try them!), I had a pint of Manchester Craft beer which I've had a few times elsewhere but this was the best pint of it I've had, they obviously know how to keep their beer correctly. Our only negative is ( and some people don't mind this at all so don't use this against the pub, it's just personal choice), I think they had just lit the fire and it was a bit smokey inside and our clothes now smell of smoke. Apart from that, the place is great, give it a whirl, definitely try the chips and the Manchester Craft beer. Keep up the good work guys.
