Visited today, lovely little pub off the beaten track, lovely friendly atmosphere, food was good, chips were amazing ( seriously good, try them!), I had a pint of Manchester Craft beer which I've had a few times elsewhere but this was the best pint of it I've had, they obviously know how to keep their beer correctly. Popped in after a walk, great to see gluten free options , staff really attentive good product knowledge, lovely atmosphere with the fire. The best chips I've had in a long time ,proper chips.

It’s a lovely place - very cosy with lovely real fires. But the food (and menu) are not good enough. Good pies made fresh but then frozen scampi, soggy chips (although fresh) and completely tasteless watery chicken curry. Be great to see some improvements here - lovely owners and friendly atmosphere let down by mixed dining experience.
