Excellent vibe. There was a lovely fire on the go which was very pleasant on a cold afternoon! The lady behind the bar was absolutely hilarious and very welcoming. Just what we needed mid-hike!
I love this pub for its large food & drink menu variety, huge portion sizes, very friendly atmosphere & the prices are really reasonable. If you are out of town & want a go to place you will not be

What a great pub. Had no idea of it's existence until today but I'm sure it will become a place we regularly visit. The food (steak and kidney rag puddings for all plus choc orange cake and apple pie for dessert) were all fantastic. Some of the best pub grub I've had anywhere.
