Visited San Carlo for my daughter's 5th birthday. Not the first time coming so we expected great things as per usual. However, the food was majorly disappointing. The garlic bread was extremely salty, as was the pasta dishes. It really wasn't great. The prawn cocktail and the bruschetta was lovely, I recommend those dishes. An odd experience. First impression very good, classy, modern, stylish. On closer inspection you'll see a TV showing football and people screaming into their mobile phones while their kids run around on the furniture. It's a classy veneer hiding an average airport hotel operation beneath. If they really want to live up to their upmarket image and pricing, at the very least take the TV out. I ate at the restaurant twice earlier this week, let me start by saying the food was pretty good, however I do not think it is value for money as is an expensive place to eat. The main issue with the restaurant is the service, there are lots of staff, however most of them just walk around doing nothing, there was 2 guys in black suits, neither of which really did anything.
