Landlady is wonderful. Customers are great. You can't use your phone and there's no music or TV but do you know what makes it so great? People actually have conversations and listen to each other, after all, there is nothing worse than talking to a mate who's got one eye on their phone, the other eye on the big screen and one ear listening in to other people and one ear on the DJ. Sam Smith's pub. Always enjoy going back here. Glad to say it hasn't changed since the last visit in 2019. A very friendly place where the locals will not ignore, but involve you in their conversation. This is a real pub.
