Visited for one quick pint after visiting a much talked about fish & chip shop in Leigh & a trip to Bents Garden centre. Did not eat here but the beer was good & refreshing on a very hot day
I can see why the food gets good reviews here. We got a last minute table for a late lunch and had 5 really good meals for a very reasonable price. The classic burgers are well cooked and had wonderful onion rings with a very light batter. The Cajun pasta was creamy and spicy and the gammon came with a beautifully caremelised pineapple, the fifth meal was a traditional roast which had very nice fresh veg and a generous portion of roast beef.We will definitely be back next time...read full review

Excellent Sunday lunch with the family today. Roast beef was very good as was the rest of the meals. My only complaint was serving Cumberland sausages as a children’s meal, too herby.
