Visited with work colleagues. Restaurant was empty but server still appeared stressed at possibility of having 4 guests telling us that he had a table of 10 arriving so seats were limited!!Helpful regarding drinks.I had the burger which was tasty although I do like my meat more cooked.My colleagues had the pork which looked good but small portion.Intended to order dessert but server avoided us so we gave up.As we were staying over I had breakfast. The food was actually very nice, but the service was poor. They basically ignored the customers even though the restaurant was almost empty. I overheard the response of a staff member to a customer who rang requesting to speak to the manager: 'Did you realise that we are part of a chain?'...then he promptly and rudely hung up. Shocking.

This place has so much potential but just lets itself down. The food was cold and tasteless. The pork belly hadn't been crisped so was just floppy fat, and the onion rings had no onion in them. The service was also really poor, having to ask for our order to be taken, mains came out before the table had been cleared, and we had to ask for cutlery. Sadly a poor experience and I won't be going again.
