I visit Golden Apple regularly as the food is always consistently good. Stretford has lots of Chinese takeaways but this is my favourite having tried them all. Their hand cut chips are so good. A nice change from the usual frozen one's you get most places. Curry sauce is great and they will make any dish vegan on request. My partner is Chinese and she loves the food here also! She loves the duck and black bean sauce.
I love their chips and gravy so much! I also enjoy their bbq spare ribs in honey sauce- beautiful. They have put in some strong measures for the covid situation, but don’t take debit cards/only cash which is it’s only downside to me. Open till late and they deliver up to me which is quite far from Davyhulme road east.

I’ve ordered a Hong Kong Style Instant Noodles with Chicken Fillet, it’s not on the menu but when I said to the boss that I really really want Chicken Fillet and Instant Noodles then he made a special order for me! He is so kind and the food is very delicious. The Instant Noodles have nice colour, good taste, and the chicken is very crispy!!! Well done
