This place was more than I expected. Me and my partner wanted a full English breakfast as we were on our way back home earlier than we had expected. So driving home from Manchester City centre I asked my partner to look for somewhere to go to eat and The lunch box came up on goggle maps. Theres quite alot of houses being built in the area so some places can serve "anything" ?. Called in after the local Saturday morning parkrun at Philips Park on the recommendation of a friend. Wasn’t disappointed! Although there are only 2 tables inside (seating 4 each) plus a breakfast bar with stools, we got a table straight away at around 10:30am. I got the biggest breakfast on the menu which was a very reasonable £6 with a coffee included. Coffees came to the table immediately, breakfast took only 5 or so minutes. Food was lovely. I highly recommend to visit The Lunch Box! The place is very authentic - it’s most often visited by the local community. We were the only tourists at breakfast today. The service was so nice & super helpful. The food was delicious! We decided to order two MEDIUM English breakfast sets & two JUMBO English breakfast sets. Both sets included free coffee/tea and toasts. The portions were huge! And the price was very good! Medium size breakfast set is only 5,5£, the bigger one (jumbo)...read full review
