You can sense the history of this pub as you get closer. Standing by itself on the corner out living buildings that have come before it and still breathing love into the city. Manchester is full of historic pubs, and being built in 1888, is even cooler. I was a little in awe with the high ceilings when I entered but felt at home within seconds. Bartenders were super cool. Great roast super tasty. Great sticky toffee for afters too. Great beer selection. Only feedback I'd say is it would have been nice for the veggie roast to have a proper gravy but otherwise

What a find this is.I went for a wander round angel meadow and gawp at the flats that are ruining the area,Anyway, called in for a pint, the beer was lovely and the decor is as wellI could feel myself going, so I ordered a burger with chunky fries.The burger was lovely.Toasted bun, nice crispy salad, burger was spot on, and the chunky chips were light and fluffy.It’s the wrong side of town for me but I’ll definitely be coming backAll the best and don’t change ??
