Was a regular here some decades ago and I'm pleased to say the place has changed since then. It doesn't look broken and soiled like it used to. Nice place on a Saturday afternoon - ticking over but not full. Clientele a mix of ages and musical leanings (patrons in the Salisbury often wear their music taste on their sleeve - literally) with folks eating, drinking and just having a sport-free afternoon in the pub. Met up with friends today for a catch up. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good selection of beers and cider. Pizzas lovely - 8 of us. Had several of the 7" pizzas- margarita, ndjua, pepperoni, garlic bread- vegan with mushrooms. Goes without saying music is great ??

Left my phone here Friday 24 May on a rare night out. Phoned them Saturday and was told, yes they have my phone. Went to pick it up from a lovely staff member who had put my phone on charge.
