I'm from wigan and I know a thing or 2 about pies... got a homemade steak pie chips and gravy. Didnt need the gravy it were that good. Best pie I've had in my life. It were that good I went back and got 2 more for tea with the wife later. Served with a smile, left with a smile. 10/10

We were in Delph yesterday, 22nd of December 2022, as I had wanted to try the fish for a long time but wanted my husband with me so he could try the fish too. It was just what I was looking for. The batter was crispy and the fish was divine, it was succulent and juicy, just perfect. This was my favourite part of the meal. My husband feels the same way. We heard and read so much great positive feedback about this place and today we travelled 40 miles to try one of the infamous cheese and onion pie and chicken curry …. Well we wasn’t disappointed!! … fantastic food and service.
