This is our go to for breakfast and lunch at the weekends which we travel over especially for at every opportunity. We love the food, which is amazing, the service, which is very friendly and the owners really try to get to know everyones likes and dislikes.

Made to feel welcome from the moment we stepped in the door. We enjoyed a lunch which included a special of Lancashire hotpot, full of flavour and tender pieces of lamb. It was up there with the famous Nigel Haworth Hotpot at Northcote Manor back in the day at a fraction of the price. Finished with tasty cake and coffee. Perfect 10 out of 10. Simply outstanding food and service. Will be returning with friends. Definitely recommend Room 54 too all!

This is just a lovely place. The staff were very friendly and polite, and there was no issue bringing in our assistance dog - who was more than accommodated. We bought two "Scrummy Hot Chocolates" and their Beans on Toast with cheese (with scrambled egg, if you ask. Be aware that this is the best tasting scrambled egg ever!).
