I have been here its of times and the food is consistently of great standard with great service at a great price. The sirloin steak is always fantastic and the Christmas menu this week was fantastic, so tasty, such generous potions.
Lack of customer service .We waited for a while for someone to come to take our drinks order, we had to flag a member of staff to come and take it.50 -60 minutes waiting for food(mains only), with booking and deposit paid in advance,( pre-orde sent in advance also to make service smoothly as being a 10 guests party). Waitress came after 40 minutes waiting to apologise for delay and to let us know will get a comp on bill at end. One of mains (mixed grill) came without the steak...read full review

Went for first time today - food ok service quick - nothing to distinguish it from other local pubs. Went on recommendation today for Sunday lunch. Portions far too large , roast potatoes not really roasted.Minimum amount of veg.. Unlikely to return for Sunday lunch.
