69 Market St, Cheshire, StalybridgeWe went on a rainy Sunday evening so there weren't many diners (atmosphere), but it meant that we were waited on hand and foot! Food was lovely. Drinks were well mixed.

60 High St, StalybridgeJust had my first visit to Chat Massalla, and I'll be giving it another visit. Called in the place across the road the week before and as always just unpleasant and not at all helpful, what a contrast the Chat Massalla was! The grey beard chap was very polite without that over ingratiating manner you can get.
I had the Garlic Chicken Hayderbady, well presented, tasty, and nicely cooked. If I was to be over critical I would have liked it to have a bit more chilli heat. The boiled rice was boiled rice, and the Chapatis were very substantial. I normally order 4, but I only ordered 2, and they were enough. Well a try and the price seemed to be the going rate.

The flavours are so clean, perfectly cooked and beautifully served. And with it being bring your own drinks too, you can't go wrong! Very highly recommended! ??

The chops and the rest of the food did not disappoint, the chops where tender and full of flavour, the curry sauce was a great portion and the garlic cheese naan was the best I’ve ever had. All the food was hot still considering it was coming to us in longsight. 10/10 for the whole package.

Didn’t get the meat options this time but they looked delicious. The restaurant had a great buzz, with a modern European feel (and something enjoyably old school about it too). Go here for a great meal and you won’t be disappointed. A little pricey but you get what you pay for.

51-53 Acres Ln, StalybridgeA really well run pub that serves great ales, ciders etc. They have Sky Sports for the big matches but you never feel intimidated or that there's a negatively charged atmosphere like in some bars during the sports as they have an admissions policy of no baseball caps, no man bags or under 25's.

Prawn toast was brilliant, very big pieces with a sauce (OK ?). Loved the egg fried rice and the salt and pepper chicken was amazing. Partner got noodles which he loved, they are the thin ones which I personally don't like.
Very well priced, can easily feed 2 people for under £20
