Having got diverted from the M6 we found this pub by chance. It was a lovely find. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Food was fresh and hot and the place very clean.Wish I had it closer to where I live, it would be my favourite place.
There was a large group of us for lunch after a funeral. We were earlier than expected so the food wasn't ready but it was quickly organised.One of the group was gluten free and she appreciated the effort made to make sure she had something to eat.

This is such a friendly pub in a beautiful village. We had a lovely day in Culcheth watching the light switch on. The staff couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful, cannot recommend this pub enough.
