Moved to the area recently and wanted to check out The Boar’s Head as every time we drive past it’s full. They managed to fit us in on a busy Sunday where lots of tables were already booked up, so we appreciated that a lot as we were starving! The food did not disappoint! We both had the roast beef dinner and it was delicious! The portions are large, the vegetables and meat are cooked really well. Absolutely Fabulous food,the manager was very attentive making sure we got everything we needed, lovely man, also Joe the barman /waiter was equally as attentive and even put music on at my request as the pub had emptied lovely young man , we will definitely go back and have recommended you to our friends Excellent value for money as they have an offer on at moment until end of November well worth a visit . Popped in for lunch today. As usual, Janet, Tony and the team were as welcoming and efficient as always. love the atmosphere in this lovely pub. Ordered the steak and ale pie, and it was delicious. Would recommend that you give it a try, it’s the perfect yummy comfort food. The Boars Head never disappoints and I love visiting. ?
