Lissie, Matt and the team at The Near & Far Bar were absolutely incredible at our wedding. From start to finish they brought the best energy, the biggest smiles and made the whole bar experience feel like such a fun part of the day.

The cocktails were perfect – beautifully made, delicious and served so smoothly all evening. Our guests kept commenting on how amazing the drinks were and how great the bar team were. They created such a brilliant atmosphere and really added to the overall vibe of the celebration.

Lissie and Matt themselves were just wonderful to have there – so friendly, professional and clearly passionate about what they do. They felt like part of the party while still running everything flawlessly behind the bar.

We absolutely loved having them there and couldn’t imagine our wedding without them. If you’re looking for a bar team that delivers amazing cocktails, great energy and a genuinely fantastic experience for you and your guests, The Near & Far Bar are the ones. We can’t recommend them highly enough!

Food is awesome. As always. You really can't get better in the area imho.
When it's full there though, it's very noisy; hard to hear yourself talk.
But, it's the food you go there for and that's the best; guess I've said that already.

Taste of Milan pizza & burgers

We placed a large order for our year 6 leavers. The manager was happy to help with this for a really fair price, the kids complimented the pizzas and appreciated the large mix of sauces they were given too. Very well organised! Thank you :)

MP German

I visited this with family for the first time, I heard great things about MP German and I can honestly say they were right. I think it’s great value for money. The staff are lovely and have good service. We ordered a range of different things from a platter to burgers to the doner. Everything was lovely. Would definitely visit again

We had a great visit this Saturday. Visiting as a large group and enjoying pub golf you never know the reception you will get. Bar staff were friendly and provided a good standard of service.

Very happy new customer, I don't normally leave reviews, the food exceeded expectations, Probably the best kabab I have eaten. Ordered through just eat and delivered in good time.

OM RESTAURANT

Came particularly for the momos, as the photos looked good and they were indeed very nice with the 4 different varieties, which included tandoori momo, chilli momo, fried momo and steamed momo. The chicken lollipop was also apparently very nice. I would have tried more dishes but it was a bit limited for vegetarians, particularly with the lack of potato dishes like aloo dum, aloo sadeko etc.

Caffe Macchiato

First time visiting and definitely not disappointed. The service was really good. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Had breakfast and wow, absolutely loved it. Great atmosphere and vibe, beautiful décor, nice music, and seriously delicious food. Everything is halal too, which is a big bonus. Highly recommend..Easy five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Gagan Chulo

Lovely Nepali vibe with friendly staff always with a smile on, and the food was good being served pretty quickly, only the prices are a little higher than I saw in the previous reviews. You can park off the streets or at the Aldershot train station parking lot.

Spice Eaters

This is our go to Indian takeaway as we have never had a bad one from there. My family and I do the set meal as it’s great value for money. We normally do delivery which is always faster than the estimated time and staff have always been polite and friendly at the door.

Thakali Cuisine Cafe & Bar

I had an incredible dining experience . The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and quick to help. On top of that, the cosy ambiance made the night feel very special. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be returning soon!

Never had an issue at this place, they do pizza better than the chains in town and at a much better price. Staff always friendly and never had an order go wrong in my experience!

Tom's Fish Shop

Really lovely fish, light batter not greasy, lovely customer service. We had the haddock and it was super tasty. Decent chip portion size too. Great price. We will be back ?

If you are in Aldershot and looking for a place to eat, I highly recommend Panas Restaurant. The restaurant has good food, good vibe and good staff. There is not other nepali restaurant in Aldershot that gives you yummy food and excellent services like this one does.

Gurkha Kitchen

Had the best Nepali food I’ve had since coming to the UK! The thali set was absolutely delicious, and the momo was brilliant, full of flavour and perfectly made. Highly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic Nepali cuisine.

Sakura Chinese Takeaway

Eaten here for many years. I have had throat cancer a while back and these people are so nice they modify a dish especially for me so its easier for me to swallow.

Chicken Valley Aldershot

The best chicken shop around! I frequently get chicken delivered from these guys and its my favourite by far. The delivery drivers always have a smile on their faces and genuinely seem like good people. The chicken is cooked spot on and the coating is delicious. I'd recommend them to anyone who loves chicken!

Great manager, great pub! So much better than it used to be back in the days. Very clean and tidy, bo sticky floors and clean bathrooms. So far no1 on my list in Aldershot.Dietary restrictions: Manager knows how to listen to clients. Superb sevice!

We had a takeaway. Food was really nice however I do feel that certain items are very over priced. over £8 for a starter and poppadoms £1.80 each compared to £0.75 at any other takeaways.

Went on Tuesday 30th Dec. Was fairly quiet but only 1 chef and 1 waitress. Considering this, food arrived quickly enough and was hot and tasty. Would recommend ? Fairly pricey considering me and my 5 year old had a pizza each and a drink amd bill was £60. This is across the board now though, everywhere is pretty expensive to eat out these days!

KoKo Coffee Shop

Unbelievably helpful, friendly staff, who not only squeezed our very large group in, at the last minute, for coffee and cake, but throughout our visit still found ways to make us all more comfortable. \nThe staff are a rare breed, who without exception understand the concept of customer service. Thank you very much to all the staff who worked so hard and catered to our needs so well.

I am a massive fan of Costa. The coffee is always brilliant ?. This particular store,s coffee was great, service was amazing. Only real negative was the loo's. I think someone needs to keep on top of cleaning ?... not the nicest experience.

Quite possibly the cleanest McDonald’s I’ve been to. Whilst I’m not a fan of McDonald’s food in general, I went in for a free apple pie that I won on the monopoly,. Bathrooms are always kept clean too.

Set up preferentially for drive thrus, the dining area is over two floors. The ground floor has a bank of ordering screens, limited seating with views of the car park or side door and the austere serving hatch has the look of a prison canteen. The food took a long time to arrive and the cheese on the McMuffin was not quite melted enough although ketchup was provided but sugar and stirring sticks weren't.

Tastebuds Caribbean Cuisine

Rice and peas was generally okay, chicken was well cooked but too salty and lacked sauce. On one occasion I drove over half an hour thinking the restaurant would be open as shown on the internet but was closed when we got there

What a fantastic find!

We've been living in the area for about six months and have spent that time searching for places that offer great food, generous portions, good value for money, and a welcoming atmosphere. At last, we've found it at Jenny's Cafe.

The staff are genuinely friendly and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The food is absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes are incredibly generous. In a time when many places seem to be reducing portions while increasing prices, it's refreshing to find a restaurant that still believes in giving customers real value for their money.

The cafe was almost packed when we visited, and that says it all. When you serve great food, provide excellent service, create a warm atmosphere, and offer generous portions, people keep coming back.

It's quite a drive for us to get here, but we honestly don't mind. We love a good breakfast, and this place is well worth the journey. We've finally found our go-to breakfast spot and will definitely be back again and again.

This is what I would describe as a locals local pub, it has that small village pub feel where the staff know the regulars and the regulars know each other and what's going on in their lives.The staff were friendly and chatty and had the time to talk if you wanted to talk.The pub has that cosy atmosphere that is rare to see with no loud music, or TV's, this is place to socialise.I had the local real ale which was very nice and from what I could see was also very popular with the other drinkers in the pub.This would be a great place to meet and old friend, have some drinks and catch up, without having to shout over music and all that sort of stuff.It was a great place to have a drink in a warm and welcoming local pub and chat with friends.

Lovely lady serving at the bar! Really friendly and welcoming. They have a darts board, pool table, beer garden. Nice pub overall! Unfortunately they didn't have any draft real ale on at the time, but they do stock it from time to time.

Nanglo Cafe & Restaurant

This was my first time trying Nepalese food and it was amazing! All the food was delicious and the portion sizes were fantastic for the price! I saw many reviews complaining about the speed of the service but it wasn't as bad as people were saying. We ordered a lot and the dishes were arriving as we would be finishing the one before. If I was closer, I would definitely visit again. I forgot to take any pictures as I wanted to just dig in!

The Imperial Standard

EAR PLUGS,this has to be the loudest pub in Britain.Music on mute, ,,,,, you can hear the locals talking 70 yards away before you reach pub. This is an amazing witness to social gathering. I am from near Liverpool and to witness this is amazing.Locals are super friendly and they love talking. Sit at bar and mingle in and joyLovely landlady and landing.

Himalayan Java Coffee

Been there to taste Himalayan coffee last week. Test-wise satisfied, but found there is a need of outlet decoration which is hardly appealing and training to customers service to its staffs (while I visited staff was on the phone and paused to take our orders and carried on talking).

Burger King

Burger was as you'd expect, this is a good thing and why people go back. Price is slightly more expensive than other burger places, but this is made up for in the difference in quality and filling. Food a 4 as its fast food, service 5 as served really quick, without the burger looking thrown together, atmosphere 3 due to, well, it's a fast food restaurant, that's not why people go.

Kid-friendliness: They have entertainment for kids on site.

Wheelchair accessibility: It's on the ground floor so can easily be accessed by wheelchair.

The Tall Ship

My favourite chippy by far.
Always cooked fresh to order and the batter is always crispy and fully cooked never soggy or burnt.. and large cod and chips realy is large if not xxl to be fair..

Kings Chinese Takeaway

I was here to get a takeaway, Kings fish and chips are among the best in the area and we travel several miles to obtain our fish and chips from Kings, despite there being several fish and chip outlets much closer. Kings also provide Chinese takeaway food, I've not tried that yet.

The Queen Hotel - JD Wetherspoon

My first time at a Wetherspoon hotel. I loved it! Really well stocked tea and coffee supplies. If you are staying you can have free coffee from their machine in the pub. Was only £67.50 for a double room for the night with breakfast starting at only £2.99. I shall definitely look for other Wetherspoon hotels on my travels

Morrisons Cafe

Went for lunch with friends could not fault the café and food at all, the food was delicious very tasty very hot when arrived at the table and a bonus to be able to have coffee refills, will definitely be back again.

The Best Pizza & Kebab House

During my time in aldershot, This place was my go to shop for a double real beef burger with fries! The condiments are amazing! Real authentic Turkish taste ?. Now, whenever I visit friends in aldershot to catch up with friends, we always buy from this shop. Excellent customer service and cleanliness is second to none! You guys won a lifetime customer here. Excellent food!

Gurkha Villa - Nepalese Restaurant

Nepali restaurant - we were the only non-Nepalis there. Genuine Nepali food - we've been to Kathmandu so can compare - very welcoming, delicious food. What a find.

Pizza King (Aldershot)

Enjoyed the hot food on a Saturday evening, on the way felt like eating spicy hot chicken pizza, went into the shop placed a order and asked the guy serving if can get it delivered to house instead in a hour, he did just that the pizza was tasty and well cooked and with added olives tasty family enjoyed and the milkshakes, was delicious thanks guys?

McChina Wok Away (Aldershot)

Fast delivery and piping hot.
Sweet and sour chicken balls are amazing, the chicken was cooked just right. We also ordered the starter mix. Will order from here again. One of the best Chinese takeaway I have had in a while

Domino's Pizza - Aldershot

I visited this Dominos almost every day during my week-long stay in England. The quality of the food I ordered was consistently good, and the service of the staff was excellent, in my opinion. And the staff, from my observation while waiting, were both quick at work and seemed to have fun! All around a great Dominos, I think.
