This is what I would describe as a locals local pub, it has that small village pub feel where the staff know the regulars and the regulars know each other and what's going on in their lives.The staff were friendly and chatty and had the time to talk if you wanted to talk.The pub has that cosy atmosphere that is rare to see with no loud music, or TV's, this is place to socialise.I had the local real ale which was very nice and from what I could see was also very popular with the...read full review

A nice local pub in Aldershot with friendly staff. Beer selection remains constant - I'd prefer a guest ale or two but what they do serve is well looked after. Large gin selection.

What’s not love at this hidden gem, fantastic (I mean fantastic) ale, great atmosphere, no trouble, friendly staff, clean and reasonably priced. The best pint and pub for miles around.
