If you ever visited indonesia and sampled the real local food served in small family restaurants and street side waroengs....you are in for a treat. We just moved in windsor and discovered this little gem serving authentic and delicious indonesian food at very reasonable prices. Been there 3 times already in as many weeks and haven't been disappointed once ! Food was really amazing. Authenticity far exceeded our expectations. Also, the owner was such a great guy. Proud of his country and really went out of his way to make sure we ordered the right things for our family (we had little kids in tow).
I originally visited Waroeng Windsor when they were at their previous location which I believed was Aldershot, and I left disappointed because half of the menu items weren’t available.I made the decision to give the restaurant another chance and I’m glad I did because the food was extremely tasty and the ayem boku or woku dish was juicy and tender.
