What a wonderful pub. Great atmosphere generated by the friendly landlord and barman. We were only visiting for the weekend and liked it so much in there, we went back a second night
A lovely little town pub staff and locals always happy and chatty.. atmosphereis great .. Owner very knowledgeable of the history of the pub very interesting to know .. a great little pub

This a real ale pub with no food. Hardly any younger people drink there. Currently the pub is open 12 till 2pm then 5pm onwards. Would be better if open between 2 and 5pm while any sunshine is in attendance out in the back courtyard, talking of which could do with a good tidy up!
