We booked for dinner yesterday and had a lovely time. The menu was unfortunately missing a fair few items but this was very understandable due to it being New Years Day and supplies being low! Booked for Christmas Day lunch. Really looked forward to this as had never been out for Christmas lunch. It’s a lovely pub and the staff were fine. Think maybe short staffed. Was surprised no Christmas music playing, not a great atmosphere generally. For the money we paid we expected it to be much better. The food was average. Love this pub, it's our go-to eatery in Brockenhurst as the staff , atmosphere and food are always spot-on. In particular the staff are really on the ball and so friendly, nothing is too much trouble. We look forward to our return visit next year!
