Food & drinks: Another excellent 3 course meal at a very good price on the set menu. The chef cooks great food and friendly staff, and the four of us were well looked after and enjoyed the meal. Can definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

Absolutely fantastic! A wonderful greeting on arrival from Toni who took me to my lovely room, even helped me with my bags as I pretty much fell through the door ? I am travelling alone on business and personal service like this is so rare! Toni served me a drink and looked after me in the restaurant, impeccable service and Paul cooked absolutely delicious food…..highly recommend the red mullet. I will definitely be back next time I am working in the area ??

This was planned as a special evening and a Date Night as we had both been poorly over the Xmas and New Year holiday. The atmosphere was sadly lacking as we were the only people in there for the first hour,However the waitress was bright and cheerful. I have to say that we both thought the food was good, however when I asked for an extra slice of bread and butter I was informed that there would be an EXTRA charge of 50 pence!! for the same, also a large glass of Red Wine was £9.70!! which we considered extortionate. Look out for the Service Charge of 10% which, under the circumstances we did not pay. Our LAST VISIT!!

We have visited Le Chateau a few times and decided it was time I wrote a review. We are retired so don*t dine out as much as we would like. Le Chateau staff always make you feel welcome and the menu is quite varied. The food is always beautifully cooked and well presented. I would certainly recommend dining there as excellent.

Had Xmas Lunch with four friends. We chose the set menu and I had Moroccan Lamb, it was delicious. All the food was first class! Very friendly owners. Would highly recommend, will definitely return there!

What a lovely B&B. We stayed here to celebrate my father-in-laws 87 birthday. Our room was spotless clean, the bathroom is very modern and the room has a lovely paris theme. The staff are all very friendly and couldn't do enough for us, they also gave us some useful information about the local area. We had pre dinner drinks in the bar, which has a lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious, all home cooked and prepared to order. I had the crispy duck leg and would definitely recommend it. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

They were so flexible in letting me change my dates.The first thing I should say is that Le Chateau is a wonderful family run bed and breakfast. It is NOT a hotel. So don't expect room service, a pool etc.. which you will get at hotel chains. Instead expect a personal reception, service, comfortable rooms, great breakfast and a lovely quiet atmosphere.The location was perfect for me a I had a meeting in a local pub. The room was excellent and just what I wanted. Breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately, I could not do it justice.A big thank you to Toni, Paul and their son, who was so helpful (sorry I forgot his name).
