Very nice welcome in from the friendly bar staff. A lovely meal for the 4 of us and no problem with having 2 dogs. I had a very tasty pork belly and a really refreshing pint of asahi lager. A great spot to retreat to after a rainy day walk in the forest.
We visited today for a New Year's Day lunch. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely friendly member of staff who showed us to our table and bought the menus'. We had booked a table for 5 but only 3 of us were able to attend. This was no issue at all for the venue and they accommodated this very happily. The restaurant is pleasant, staff extremely friendly and efficient and food is excellent. I have been to this restaurant and bar several times and have never been disappointed. My friends confirm my view and all have had happy meals at the White Hart.
