Le Chateau Cadnam
Le chateau, Newbridge Rd, Cadnam, SouthamptonFood & drinks: Another excellent 3 course meal at a very good price on the set menu. The chef cooks great food and friendly staff, and the four of us were well looked after and enjoyed the meal. Can definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

The White Hart
Old Romsey Rd, Cadnam, SouthamptonVisited on the way to Lyndhurst from Brighton for a quick drink after a longer than your average drive. A pleasant pub, well-managed, with polite staff. However, there was some construction work taking place at the time. I noticed what appeared to be a surveyor measuring the interiors of the entrance area and the first-floor walkway to the lavatories. Due to this distraction, I can't give it a full 5 stars for atmosphere. It may seem a bit trivial, even to myself as I write this, but I can only base my review on what I observed.I would consider returning to dine here in the future.

Sir John Barleycorn
Southampton Road, Cadnam, SouthamptonBeen wanting to sample the Indian food here for a while, having read the chef coming from Darjeeling, a place where my grandfather went to school. All members of staff were extremely polite and attentive. We ordered from the Indian menu and food was as I hoped - it was delicious. The chef also came out to speak to me. Lovely people and food.I’ve not ranked the atmosphere only because it was midday on Monday, so I’m not expecting it to be full of people/activity

The Empress of Blandings Pub & Restaurant, Cadnam
Romsey Rd, Copythorne, SouthamptonHad a lovely time at the Empress, the big momma burger and pulled pork brioche was delicious. First time I tried a coffee stout and it was delicious too. The service was a little slow but the staff were very polite and helpful.
