Apless Ln, Worlds End, Hambledon, WaterloovilleOverall a good experience. The waiting staff worked hard and were very pleasant and professional. The portions were good so you feel you get value for money.
We had pasta, breaded chicken and fish & chips all of which were nice. We had some puds too.
We did discover that lime (as in lager and lime) wax £1 a shot (whether you had a pint of a half pint!!!). When did that become a thing? Is that the same in pubs countrywide? No idea. Dear god! Be warned.
We had lunch on a sunny day so pub was bright and felt open and clean. Atmosphere was good. Will say again that the bar staff and waiting staff were very good. Well done ladies.
Large car park with plenty of spaces.
Worth a punt as there's plenty of variety in the menu.

Friendly and smiling staff.
Service isn't very fast, but it's acceptable.

Barnard's Restaurant
Hambledon Rd, Denmead, WaterloovilleWe took our friends here to celebrate a birthday. We informed them it was a supprise birthday treat and booked a vintage high tea for 4 people. There was nothing on the table it indicate a birthday. The sandwiches came out on a plate and the cakes were on a cake stand. The cakes completely out weighed the sandwiches. We all agreed we would rather have more sandwiches than cakes, or 50 50. There was no little cake with a candle, no happy Birthday written on a plate, not even a happy birthday. The food was nice, but not fabulous. Disappointing.

Hambledon Rd, Denmead, WaterloovilleFood is fantastic and perfectly priced for the high Quality. Good range of beers, great service and big portions. Don't be afraid to request a doggy bag. Excellent atmosphere in this buzzing pub 10/10
