Great location by the water, lots to see (binoculars provided at window tables). Excellent service, welcoming and friendly in just the right proportion with nice coffee and delicious cakes. From the outside its an ordinary grey box .... inside its a gem of a cafe !
Enjoyed a lunch here with my friend. The food is delicious and we were stuffed by the time we left. It is upmarket place to eat but you get what you pay for. The staff are friendly, warm and welcoming.They do however add a big tip to the end of your bill which I'm sure people would freely give if let up to them. I only discovered Salt for the first time this week despite being relatively local to the area, it was a brief visit just grabbing a take out coffee and cake, but both were excellent and I frequent a lot of cafes travelling all over the country for my job! Location and decor fantastic, can't wait to return for a longer visit.
