There aren’t many places that will cater for 25 people (including lots of kids!) but the Squirrel did and they did brilliantly. We had our annual Christmas meal, which we ordered in advanced, but even those who wanted to make changes it wasn’t too much trouble.The food was served hot and all very tasty, not an easy task when serving lots of people. I normally pass this pub without a thought of going in.Pleasantly surprised, looked recently refurbished, staff friendly a d good service.Why not 5 Stars you ask, the carrots and parsnips undercooked. I didn't mention this to the young waiter who seemed a little inexperienced.The vegetable issue is not a reason for me not to go back again.

A great local pub to go meeting your friends whether if it’s having a drink or having lunch and dinner. There are also events that take place including Quiz Nights, Christmas theme, Halloween theme, Easter theme and Major Sport Events which I like a lot; they always do a good job there. I like the staff. Food is great, expensive though but decent food. A great pub going to!
