Walked in to this pub and felt really welcome Landlady was very friendly and made us feel welcome and her little dog is fabulous and loves you to play fetch and tug with him loved him to bits ??
Friendly staff and local's are friendly enough. Has a pool table and dart board. Drink prices are about average but place could do with a lick of paint or something like that. Good place though

Wonderful looking corner pub typical of so many Victorian pubs in Gosport and also Portsmouth. Inside you will find a decent local boozer, a good welcome is to be had and on tap serving today Hobgoblin Gold which was decent. The pub inside is stripped of character typical of pubs today but the locals add the character rather than the decor. Worth checking out.
