On arriving the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was very clean and tidy and the enormous bath towels were fluffy. A flat screen TV and WIFI was readily available making it easy for me to keep in contact with my business associates. Amazing hotel! Staff are extremely courteous and helpful. Quiet and comfy rooms and an incredibly well kept and truly classic old school gem in the heart of Havant. Very walkable to train station, shops and entertainment. On-site pub and restaurant are awesome. No elevator or AC. Highly recommended. Will stay again!
Decided to book a night away to go and eat out at The Wheelwrights Arms just down the road. Arrived at the hotel Saturday late afternoon and was greeted with a warm and welcoming lady on reception. Room very basic but more importantly immaculately clean. Bar staff were fantastic and friendly. Breakfast was excellent as was the service. No grumbles from us at all. We would most certainly return.
