Our first visit to Jaspers but not the last, on arrival we were sat in the comfortable lounge where we enjoyed a drink while we viewed the menu. There were a good choice of food available, my wife selected melon to start followed by a chicken dish and profiteroles for desert while I had a dressed crab to start then venison haunch steak and creme brulee to finish, we then ended the evening back in the lounge enjoying coffee and liquers. We visited this restaurant for the second time in a month. We had the lamb shank and venison which were cooked to perfection. We made room for a desserts consisting of trio of ice cream, and steamed pudding. Both were gorgeous. The service was perfect, with us being led to the table and our starters ready. The atmosphere was lovely, and relaxed, with one or two other tables full. This. restaurant is a gem to the island and we will be returning.
Visited Jaspers last month using a promotional voucher and wasn't disappointed. A warm, friendly greeting on arrival with drinks served in the lounge area whilst perusing the menu. My husband and I had no difficulty in selecting three courses and we weren't disillusioned with the service or quality of the food.
