I would like to start my review with a big thank you to all the staff for the excellent experience , food, drinks and service they offered the Friendship group on the 12th Dec . I took 21 elderly people for their Christmas lunch, the food was pre-ordered , we arrived at 12:30 , the starters were served very quickly after everyone was settled , followed by the main course , the portions were huge and such good quality , puddings were followed by mince pies , mints and coffee. Excellent , we went to the Yew Tree on a whim , and found a real gem, the staff were lovely and the food was amazing. We had the Morrocan Beef which was perfect and the bacon and onion pie. The portions were massive so unfortunately we couldn't finish,the Chips were the best I have had in a long time

5 star hosts and great food We Booked an evening meal for 4 and was made really welcome on arrival. Traditional English pub serving up great food. Nothing too much trouble wish we lived in the area to use more often. Great place to meet for a drink or a meal any time of the day.
