Service is so slow. Ordered two kids meals as a quick stop off on the way home - everything was being cooked to order and yet they were prioritising other customers over ours. Turns out “Kids Cod” isn’t a small piece of cod, but cod bites. So 20 mins to cook some cod bites. Kids upset as they wanted “big fish” and had waited so long just had to take what we had.

Good quality well cooked fresh fish with nice thin batter. Good sized portions and reasonable value. Small cod, chips and mushy peas cost £10.40.Unfortunately the chips were a let-down. Soggy texture and all stuck together in a big clump and stuck to the paper. They might have been alright fresh out of the fryer but were too tightly wrapped in paper. Most good fish and chip shops these days use cardboard boxes which keep the food crisp and warm far better.
