We came across this pub by accident whilst on grandparent duty and were fortunate enough to get a table. We had beer battered fish and chips and the liver with mash and vegetables. The food was hot, delicious and probably not the right thing to eat on a warm summer evening but it’s so hard to find liver on a menu these days! What a lovely surprise. Stopped by as my car was in a garage near by and needed to kill some time and I’m so glad I did. This place oozes comfort and loveliness. Staff are so friendly and professional. The food was outstanding , I wasn’t expecting such a high standard. I only ordered a tuna and sweetcorn toastie is and it can beautifully presented with some crisps, salad and dressing. 11/10!!! Can’t wait to return with friends and family and spend more time here. Five of us went for lunch, so it was really quiet, which suited us. The food was lovely and the service was great. The whole place was clean and very friendly. There's also plenty of parking.
