Such a wonderful gem !Went for a circular walk around nature reserve and arrived at The Red Lion to a very hot fire,very friendly team and absolutely delicious food ! Turned up after a wet and cold walk with our new dog, who is only 6mths old and very anxious in unfamiliar places. After he started barking, and wouldn’t settle we started to move to the exit to sit outside. However the manager helped find us a table where we could keep him out the way and comfortable, even though this was a table for 8 and there were only 2 of us. Had an excellent meal for whole family (35 of us). Excellent service and food catering well for vegans and celiacs (gluten free). Lovely cosy feel in a traditional pub with beams and open fire. Highly recommend
