We visited yesterday for lunch on our weekend away, after a recommendation from family who visit regularly. We were not disappointed! So much so, we went back today for some drinks. The yummiest seafood - the sole melted in your mouth and the scallops were so flavoursome. The cocktail menu is 10/10 and I will dream of that white bueno martini forever. (I had to ask for the recipe so I can make it back at home!) staff are very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back next time we visit the area! Highly recommend ? Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Went for lunch. My friend had fish gumbo. She noticed that one langustine was purple and the tail, which she ate, was mushy . She told the waitress who said she would speak to the chef. As I was paying the bill, she reported that the chef said it was only the head which wasn't cooked. I wasn't offered any money off the bill and didn't make a fuss, but I won't be going back again. Rather sad

Nice pub with stunning views. We were served by a very friendly guy.
Fantastic Sunday lunch. Excellent food, contemporary deco, friendly and attentive service. Best scallops I've ever had. It was a friend's birthday and she got an amazing happy birthday desert on the house. If this isn't enough- there are fantastic sea views over Mudeford Bay and beyond. And last but not least - dogs are welcome.

We visited by chance on a sunny Sunday whilst walking in the local area. We were greeted by a very friendly host who showed us to a stunning table overlooking the sea and cliffs of Barton on Sea.We ordered from their BBQ menu which stated it was only served when it’s sunny. The food certainly matched the weather as it was bright and full of summer flavours. We enjoyed the Swordfish, but the Chicken and Chorizo Skewers were a highlight. We were going to stop by for a quick bite to eat and a pint, but ended up partaking in cocktails and a jug of Pimms, all of which were fabulous. I can’t wait to return soon to try the full menu in their main restaurant. They had a massive outdoor area so it was quite easy to get a table, even during peak hours. I would highly recommend a visit, as it’s about as close to Portugal in the UK!
