We have visited the globe on numerous occasions, the last time was my birthday Xmas Eve. We had the choice of main menu or festive. We all agreed the food really was fantastic, and with a money off voucher made it such great value for money. Our waitress was very attentive. I requested a round table and this was fulfilled. All in all highly recommended ? some pubs/restaurants have off days I know but we visited in November and obviously again December and they didn't disappoint...read full review
We had an excellent meal here on New Year's eve! Although it was busy, the staff were friendly, pleasant and helpful. The food was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. Generous portions, well presented and served by smiley staff.Parking: Free parking for up to 3 hours.
Had a festive dinner here on Boxing day. Gentle music in the background, beautiful venue, and friendly staff.I liked how we could order in advance. Considering how busy it was, felt there was an acceptable gap between courses, not too long of a wait.I would say all of our brussel sprouts were underdone and a family member had some boiled potatoes, which also were underdone. However, the baked potatoes, meat, parsnips and what followed, the profiteroles in particular, were excellent....read full review
