I've never frequented this establishment, and when my friend booked a table for the nine of us, he was a little anxious as to what to expect.I said"Im sure it will be fine". And sure enough it was. Great brasserie style pub with a really great menu and super friendly, attentive staff. We had scallops & ham hock terrine for starters, both were generous sizes and beautifully cooked (also a proper amount of toast with the terrine). Then the slow cooked short rib of beef with dauphinoise & the bream with bouillabaisse, again both were delicious. A real find for us, we all had a wonderful roast beef lunch and the cocktails were fantastic. Quite an expensive lunch but we did all have cocktails and it was an exceptional meal and the staff were very friendly and looked after us very well.
