What a fantastic place! The food (chicken leak pie) was out of this world!Must try the horseradish woth it as is the best I've ever tasted! The manager is lovely lady was brilliant and attentive! We love the atmosphere of the pub and the staff are lovely, but meal of chicken bacon & leek pie with mash was worst ever. Next to no meat. Complaint passed to kitchen but nothing done to compensate. Previously had sunday roasts and gammon which were great. Disappointed as 1st visit with wife after her big operation, so the treat fell well flat of what we would have expected. Will think twice before visiting again. Shame!!!!

If I'd wanted to make my own baguette I would of gone to Tesco! A Baguette cut in half, I had to cut it open with a normal knife, butter it and add my own filling! Plus £7.05 a pint! This is New Milton not Covent Garden!
