Great restaurant, great location and great staff. But the wait for our main course was unbelievable! I didn't mind, it actually made me laugh because on that Monday 17th of July, it was rather quiet there, and at least all my drinks turned up promptly. My main; the lamb, was not as great as I had expected. I am the last person to want to publicly criticize anything in Pompey, so I did email the manageress, Ally I think, but did not get any reply. Booked this venue for a family birthday celebration and everyone loved it. Service and food were excellent. Would definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to celebrate a special occasion.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch with family visiting from Canada. Such a unique setting and excellent food. We had all the choices and they were all equally brilliant. Nice bottle of wine too.
