Great pub and atmosphere, the foods is good but for what I chose a little over priced. Very popular place expecially with the men after finishing work. In the summer it's buzzing.
Lovely pub right near the Dockyard. Stopped in for a pint and a bite to eat during the week. Greeted by friendly staff with a warm welcome. Mac cheese was absolutely divine and hubby thoroughly enjoyed his chicken and bacon sarnie on sourdough. We were soaked to the skin and our paper bag with our shopping in had disintegrated and the lovely guy behind the bar immediately offered us a plastic carrier bag which was extremely thoughtful. Lovely pub opposite Portsmouth Harbour. Very traditional, always a good atmosphere, especially when the rugby is on. Very convenient for train station too.Staff have always been friendly and welcoming.
