“The perfect place to see the sun set around the Spinnaker Tower. The service is fantastic, and the atmosphere is great especially when live music is on. Had a really great night.”

“My daughter is a vegetarian, and she told me it's hard to get a veggie burger "right." The one at Ship Anson was so good, she was dreaming about it for the rest of our trip to England! I had the vegetarian chili, and it, also, was the best meal of my vacation. Highly recommended!”

“Great beers and fantastic food at a very reasonable price. Our server Kane was polite, engaging and very funny. When some servers can be so disengaging (or downright rude as I’m currently finding 100 yards down the road) this lad went out of his way to make our visit a pleasure. Keep up the good work.”

“We recently had a reunion in Portsmouth with 21 of us attending. The Chamber’s have a private dining area which was ideal for this occasion. The food and service was excellent and we would all fully recommend The Chambers. Thank you for helping to make this a fantastic reunion”

“Sovereign's is a Hungry Horse pub which is amazing value for money. On steak night Monday a steak, chips, half a large tomato, two good sized onion rings cost £7.00. It was good food well presented and served with a smile. A great place to eat if your waiting for the ferry.
Came again to the Hungry Horse as we were catching the ferry to St Malo. The food and service were again excellent. Amazing value for money.
Went again to the Hungary horse as we arrived by ferry to Portsmouth. It was again great value for money. Steak and Ale pie, fish and chips plus two large glasses of wine for £33.00. Also got another £3.00 15% discount on food using my AA app. So it all just cost £30.00 Excellent value, thank you.”
