What a super pub/hotel. We booked one night only fearing lack of entertainment in the area , but totally wrong and wished we had stayed 2 nights. Rye has loads to offer in way of different individual shops. The venues to eat are enormous..around every corner something for everyone. I use mermaid more than I use to clearly I can say I enjoy the benefits of clean pumps and sitting in a spot or two I always have used .The public are straight people everyone has good attatudes also arne the landlord is a good freind and chatty
