Hands down the most friendliest pub in Portsmouth. Classic and great atmosphere and lots of naval heritage and memorabilia. Good beer and chatty friendly staff. You know you're welcome here..autism friendly also for myself which is a plus because I have found my locals of Waterlooville beyond a disgrace.. too many of the small towns love riff rafs and only locals and know how to bully but I just love all the Portsmouth locals. We went here yesterday with some work colleagues and how accommodating were the owners! This pub is small, yet homely and rather cozy too. Drinks are well priced and music was really good using a juke box. Nice to choose music to play that you want to hear. We even had a dance in this little pub too. People were friendly, the staff were fun and even had a dance with us too. Great little find this one, when we in the area again, we will be sure to visit this pub.
