“We had originally planned to dine elsewhere, but we’re so glad our evening had taken us to The Bear & Ragged Staff. We hadn’t made a reservation and the staff were quick to seat us. The staff were all so lovely and very friendly. The service was brilliant. And the food, the food was absolutely beautiful! When it came to ordering puddings, my in-laws went for ice cream. As a joke my partner suggested to jazz up their ice creams. We were not disappointed at all, their plain ice creams came out with a variety of fresh berries and strawberry sauce too. That, had absolutely made our evening. Thank you to all the staff at The Bear & Ragged Staff, we’re looking forward to dining again with you very soon.”

“First time eating here. The wife and I both had a turkey, ham and leak pie and it was delicious and the daughter had burger and chips which she enjoyed. Took awhile to come out but was worth the wait. Downside was the group of lads, one in particular, talking and swearing loudly, totally unnecessary with children in earshot.”
