Well I’ve been home from Spain for 2 weeks and visited The Sun 4 times !!! A kareoke evening ,Saturday morning Breakfast , mid week special menu and today for Sunday Roast , every time we were greeted with lovely friendly staff (mollie)etc and Ben of course ? the food each time was superb!! See you next time for sure ,many thanks for your hospitality xx
Absolutely amazing hospitality... Went with my girlfriend and 3 children, and were made to feel welcome the moment we walked in by a friendly and very funny landlord/waiter.The food came reasonably quickly, and was hot with generous portions. Proper wholesome cooked food in this inn. Will definitely be visiting again! ??

Had lunch in the very pleasant garden on a warm sunny day and it couldn't have been better. Interesting menu and the food was excellent. We were made very welcome and the service was exceptionally friendly and efficient. What a shame we don't live close enough to be regular visitors, but we shall be back when next in the Romsey area. Definitely worth making a detour to visit this proper pub.
