British • “A great pub doing great things. I love this place as it's back to traditional pub vibes. No phones inside,which is great as it encourages everyone to talk to each other and socialise. Isn't that what you go to a pub to do!?!The outside seating area is huge! Plenty of pace for your furry friend to chill and the kids to run around. Also a little play area. Very dog friendly and has a little car park. We normally cycle here, but have also seen people arriving on horses! ? Great team and good atmosphere. Haven't had food here for over a year, so can't comment at this time, but will update here when we do.Kid-friendliness: Lots of outdoor space to run around and a little play area.Parking: Small car park attached.”
British • “Had the best experience at slug and lettuce in Southampton. Best bottomless brunch I’ve been to with the best music and fast service. We were served by Matt who was always there to bring us fresh drinks and ensure we were enjoying ourselves. Couldn’t fault it.”

British • “It's 7.30 pm on a Friday night and I am the only one here. The service was amazing, the food was amazing, the house wine is amazing. I don't get it, what a fabulous spot. In truth the name Water Rat did dent my appetite a bit! But get yourselves down here, menu is superb, with terrific specials that are not on the internet. I've been sailing in the Hamble for xx years, but my first time here, and it's my new favourite place in Hamble already. Stay away! Easier for us to get a table!”
