It's a comfortable place to while away a few hours, the bar area especially but it can get very busy during lunchtimes and sometimes finding a seat is hard. The dining options, in either the restaurant (usually requiring booking) or bar area are very good, with an excellent, uncluttered menu. The food is delicious and prepared to a very high standard and the service is friendly. We visited the chilworth arms after meeting some friends.Very good menu, and we all had roast dinners. Incredible quality and very good portion size (I'm a big eater) .Highly recommend and we will be back when in the area again.

Went for a drink in this beautiful pub after walking the old Roman road nearby. Although we didn’t eat, menu looked good, the interior was stylish with designer decor and an open fire.
