We missed “home cooked food”and was hunting for one close to home and we found Tang’s after few attempts. When they served me and I looked at the texture of the rice and I know this is the right one!1. Their ginger chicken with rice and vegetable soup for lunch are super good and almost 100% close to our home cooked food.Highly recommended!
Came with my sister today for lunch after our afternoon tea was cancelled. We loved it! My sister is a vegetarian and they had a vegetarian menu with lots of options. Once the food arrived everything was hot, fresh and and my sister was so impressed with the vegetarian dishes. The portions were huge, bigger than expected ansdtherefore we over ordered!What makes this place great is the staff. Tangs has supposedly been part of Southampton for twenty years or more by this point. They have a buffet style menu, lazy Susan tables and they were fairly busy on a Saturday evening. The decor is looking a little dated but the food did not disappoint. I had the prawn chow mein and salt and pepper squid which were both delicious and fresh.
